introducing:

#52 JUNK. - Dirt In My Eye

We want to make sure you're well educated in time for JUNK.'s Liquorice EP to come out on CHUD Records, 04/05/15, and for their Summer dates to kick off.

We don't think we'd be doing our job very well if we let you go another day without hearing their lo-fi, guitar jangly, tongue-in-cheek sweet tunes.

As though you needed any further indication that JUNK. are every lo-fi-slack-rock / nonchalant guitar fuzz fan's dream, they're releasing Liquorice EP on cassette as well as digitally. Their type of bitter-sweet alt pop is delivered with a knowing sense of humour and sixties pop group influences.

Ferg from CHUD Records says, "We're thrilled to be working with JUNK. again on this release. Car EP was both the first release for us and for JUNK. so it’s really great to see how far they’ve come in the past year. JUNK. have cleaned up and grown up a lot on Liquorice but stayed true to what made us want to make them our début release. It's pure pop song writing written for nobody but themselves."

You can see JUNK. live at the below dates:

29/04/15 - Leeds, Wharf Chambers
03/05/15 - Manchester, Sounds From The Other City festival
04/05/15 - Leeds, Oporto
26/07/15 - Indietracks festival

If Sabbath is God, then does that make Fuzz Jesus? Duncan Clark works it out with multi-instrumentalist Charles Moothart; the bad penny of every psych garage band you already love.

A band that started as a joke and supported Ty Segal off just four singles; Duncan Clark finds out which members of the un-pigeonhole-able Los Bitchos would bang Travis Barker.

Ghost Town Remedy provide an unashamedly guilt-free, riff-filled, blissful tonic to the eternal drudge of 2020.
