#53 Taffy - Suicidal Bunny

Latest release from the evilly cute Taffy sums them up pretty perfectly in its title, 'Suicidal Bunny'. Nasty, snarly, and fuzzy, but with a sweet little fluffy tail.

Their new EP, Darkle (again, summarising their sound and aesthetic pretty clearly) is out today, and it's full of the kind of heavily distorted riffs and rot-your-teeth-sweet vocals that Taffy do so well. The Japanese four-piece use shoe-gaze levels of distortion and jerky gun-shot drums to disguise their Brit pop gooey centre. Out today on Club AC30, their Darkle EP is a necessary purchase for any fan of fuzz.

You can see Taffy live at the below dates:

17/05/15 - CLWB IFORBACH, Cardiff
22/05/15 - Liverpool Sound City, at Tim Peaks Diner, Liverpool
26/05/15 - Shea Stadium, Brooklyn, New York
31/05/15 - Part Time Punks, The Echo, Los Angeles

NO ONE CARES WHAT YOU THINK, BUT LEAVE A COMMENT ANYWAY

Rekindle all your Avril Lavigne angst with the new double single from King Princess.

Platypus Complex' debut single writhes around your noggin, which is exactly what we'd hoped to hear from these desert-driven psychedelic instrumentalists.

Southend meets Salerno, or is it Portsmouth meets Puglia, who knows? Wherever you are this summer the ride is relentless.
