The low rumble of an oscillating bass line, distant, crashing drums, and impossible space synths disguising the guitars fiddling around in the mix. You'd be forgiven for thinking 'I Hear Voices' by Sunflower Bean was a straight psychedelic rock freak out, but the verse vocals come from a much more punk place, and towards the end there's a full-on doom break down. The single is one of the many incarnations of modern garage rock, and follows on from their self-released debut EP, Show Me Your Seven Secrets (released towards the end of last year).
