These Scottish dreamers released the mellow sadness of ‘Vultures’ through Foxbox Records earlier this month. Burt Bacharach trumpets and gentle rippling xylophone melodies lull you into a false sense of security before the drawling, string-heavy final explosion. The song is emotional while remaining sincere, and large enough to make the band feel as muscular as they need to be to experiment with huge tone changes and droning waves.
