introducing:

BLOSSOM

BLOSSOM are a pretty mysterious bunch. You'll be hard pressed to find out much more than two beautifully constructed VHS-style footage videos when you hunt for them online.

What we can tell you is that they're South East London based, they make fuzzy anthems that have got us Jesus and Mary Chain levels of excited, and that they plan on letting their music do the talking.

Raw Meat: Tell us about your local music scene; what’s your favourite local venue, are there any record labels or stores that we should look up, what’s the scene like where you’re from?
BLOSSOM: We live in Forest Hill which is very sleepy community and there isn't much of a 'scene' at all. We have two pubs and a chip shop, so we've just sat inside for two years writing songs and making films. If we want to venture out from our basement the nearest bit of culture to us is New Cross or Camberwell that both have interesting art and music scenes. We like both.

Name one track or band that you love from the past.
'In Heaven' (Lady in the Radiator Song).

Name one track or band that you’re loving right now.
'Habit' by Ought.

Name one track or band that you think we should be listening out for in the future.
Hopefully us?

What are you up to now?
About to go to rehearsal.

What can we expect from you next?
More songs and some live shows. Maybe a record after that...

NO ONE CARES WHAT YOU THINK, BUT LEAVE A COMMENT ANYWAY

Way back in 2015 we asked Plastic Mermaids the only questions that matter.

There's more than a little nostalgia in the power-psych of Fez. We asked them the all important questions just in time for the release of their latest single.

Krush Puppies' latest medieval-tinged murder ballad is a grubby, fuzzy attention-grabber.
