I really didn't want to like this guy - he's so beautiful, he's practically a woman, but the combination of genres is addictive and when his debut album, Le Fou is released (Autumn this year, via Sensibility Music) it will be interesting to see how his sound expands.

Raw Meat: Tell us about your local music scene; what’s your favourite local venue, are there any record labels or stores that we should look up, what’s the scene like where you're from?
Devan DuBois: The music scene in Nashville is expanding. There is beginning to be more diversity in rock, pop, and hip-hop even. Grimeys is the record store in Nashville. My favorite venue is the Ryman Auditorium.

Name one track or band that you love from the past.
'Rock On' by David Essex. This is really the only song I like by him but it is so inspiring especially that it came out that long ago. The attitude and production on this is something I am really mulling over currently.

Name one track or band that you're loving right now.
Bleachers. Cool pop rock band. It is hard to walk that line. He did a great job.

Name one track or band that you think we should be listening out for in the future.
Hmm... Young Summer ... An artist I played a show with recently.

What are you up to now?
Rehearsals and getting ready for my debut album to release.

What can we expect from you next?
Touring and writing for next album. Hopefully another music video soon.
