Vertical Scratchers - 'Way Out' music video

Directed, edited and filmed by Danny Perez, Vertical Scratchers have released a music video for ‘Way Out’, from their debut album Daughter of Everything. Out now on Merge Records.

The vibrancy and quite frankly, utter chaos in this video adds to the upbeat and intoxicating sounds of Vertical Scratchers; making the video not only enjoyable to listen to but to watch as well. With the fast shots and the fast pace of the song, it almost hypnotises you into a trance, to only be jolted awake with the abrupt end. Despite the slight ominous scent in the video; it still manages to project a more cheerful atmosphere, which matches the tone of the music.

We're addicted to this sneakily little funky number. And we definitely want to get high with all our mothers.

Those pesky Table Scraps have written a slacker anthem, and created a visual prayer to the beloved loser gods to go along with it.
