Staying well away from the mainstream, ‘It’s Too Late’ is more than a breath of fresh air. Taking a stripped back garage punk track and dousing it with the sounds of the fifties is innovative and quite frankly, bloody genius. The odd visuals and appearance of what can only be described as a low budget labyrinth makes Shannon and the Clams just that little bit better than they already were. With approval from NME and a new album, Gone By The Dawn, recently released, you can bet that this isn’t the last we’ll hear from them.
