introducing:

Junodef - The Things In Front Of Me

Described as Scandi minimalists, our SOTW Junodef are chillingly good.

Originally from Sweden, Junodef relocated to London last year and we're ashamed to say they've only just caught our collective ear. In contrast to the rise in chillwave minimalism that we saw in 2018, Junodef's intensity comes from their combination of spacious verses and swelling choruses.

The band had to say the following about latest single and our new favourite thing, 'The Things In Front Of Me'; “We have all been in that situation where thoughts like “I could've done more” or “If only I had...” are nagging in the back of our heads, and it takes time to come to terms with and surrender to the idea that things played out in an inevitable way.

'The Things In Front Of Me' is dark-eyed, brooding and handsome, and we are completely smitten.

See Junodef live at the below dates:

13/02/19 - The Social, London (say, isn't that tonight?)
22/02 - Amersham Arms, London
08/03 - Sebright Arms, London

STALKER RESOURCES:

NO ONE CARES WHAT YOU THINK, BUT LEAVE A COMMENT ANYWAY

If Sabbath is God, then does that make Fuzz Jesus? Duncan Clark works it out with multi-instrumentalist Charles Moothart; the bad penny of every psych garage band you already love.

A band that started as a joke and supported Ty Segal off just four singles; Duncan Clark finds out which members of the un-pigeonhole-able Los Bitchos would bang Travis Barker.

Ghost Town Remedy provide an unashamedly guilt-free, riff-filled, blissful tonic to the eternal drudge of 2020.
