Intrinsic Englishness, pounding drums and DIY guitars are a pretty powerful cocktail at the worst of times, but when they're spat at you by four smirking Slits fans it's poison. Remaining disinterested while twitching with energy, Primetime have something rare. The guitars and bass growl over jittering melodies, with beats so DIY you can almost hear the disdain. Primetime's timeless punk is mirrored in the lack of modernity through the video, directed by Roxanne Clifford of Veronica Falls.
I'm completely addicted.
