A vital part of the London underground scene, Sex Cells have been electrifying stages and shorting modern fuse boxes for close to five years. Their psychedelic analogue space hippy sound provides backdrop to haunting and chaotic live shows. They are wholly and entirely unique, which is a rare and valuable thing.
Taking a step in a breakbeat / breakneck speed direction, 'Love Is The Exit' stays spacey while bringing the punk beating heart of their live shows further into the forefront. The track has been supported by BBC Introducing and Tom Robinson's Introducing Mixtape, which could be how our own dear Emily Pilbeam (Raw Meat's first New Music Editor) heard about them; calling their previous single 'Modern Witchcraft', "an instant classic".
Listen to previous singles 'Hell Is Where The Heart Is' and 'Are You Ready'.
