Tell us about your local music scene; what’s your favourite local venue, are there any record labels or stores we should look up, what’s the scene like where you’re from?
Lawrence: I grew up in Walthamstow, and there's a pretty vibrant jazz scene going on. There are a lot of pubs where they have regular music slots, like the Rose and Crown on Hoe Street.
Max: Being born and raised near Twickenham, I've always been surrounded by music. At the moment there aren't as many gigs as such but plenty of jam nights where a lot of local bands get together and just play music for the fun of it.

Name one track or band that you love from the past.
Max: I'm a massive fan of soul music so it has to be Marvin Gaye! So many tunes that I never get tired of hearing.
Lawrence: A Tribe Called Quest - 'Electric Relaxation' if I'm only allowed one...

Name one track or band that you’re loving right now.
Lawrence: Hiatus Kaiyote's Choose Your Weapon has been on repeat for months now, such a masterful album.
Max: Is it wrong for me to say Andrea Bocelli's new album? Only because my mum is constantly playing it in the kitchen....

Name one track or band that you think we should be listening out for in the future.
Max: It has to be Big Tooth! I don't think there has been one song that I haven't loved. Amazing vocals and really cool band.
Lawrence: Jordan Rakei is one to watch. I've been listening to his stuff for years and recently he's been doing some really cool stuff with Disclosure and Barney Artist.

What are you up to now?
Max: At the moment myself, Lawrence, Nathan and Yousef are currently working on our live set, which we are all really excited about. Definitely looking forward to getting out there and playing some shows!

What can we expect from you next?
Lawrence: A lot more music! This years going to be busy...
