Young Romance Recommends

Our lovely hunks of Fresh Flesh have been recommending some pretty amazing music for you over the past few months. Here's another round up of who the bands you love... love.

Today we're looking back at the Kingstonian Young Romance who went with the legendary Fleetwood Mac's 1979 release 'What Makes You Think You're The One' from their album Tusk for their choice of past poison.

Their present favourites were a band that we at Raw Meat completely adore, Parquet Courts. Their latest album, Sunbathing Animal is awesome; stoners, guitar riffs, slacker lofi and lyrically brilliant.

Check out them playing the lead single 'Black and White' at Glastonbury this year:

The band that Young Romance want us all to keep an eye on in the future are garage purveyors, The Black Tambourines. They write flower punk and garage rock with nineties riffs and amazing energy.

Listen to 'I Wanna Stay Away' now:

Young Romance have just made the mp3 of their single, 'Pale', available on the almighty iTunes, but you can still buy it on limited white vinyl from Banquet Records.

NO ONE CARES WHAT YOU THINK, BUT LEAVE A COMMENT ANYWAY

Way back in 2015 we asked Plastic Mermaids the only questions that matter.

There's more than a little nostalgia in the power-psych of Fez. We asked them the all important questions just in time for the release of their latest single.

Krush Puppies' latest medieval-tinged murder ballad is a grubby, fuzzy attention-grabber.
